You may have noticed that we have had an influx of new members joining the Treehouse. We wanted to take this opportunity to breakdown our programs, quarterly assessments, and our membership drive. As always, if you have a question about the program, gym offerings, nutrition, your membership or why does Coach Dave have so much energy in the morning, please do not hesitate to ask!

Base Programs

We have been working hard at making our fitness program the most well-rounded on the North Shore!  We now have 3 different types of classes on the schedule. Conditioning, Gymnastics Skill and of course Weightlifting. There is no class better than another. They all have their place depending on your current goals.

TreeFit Conditioning: This is our high-intensity interval training classes. It is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time. This after-burn effect is referred to as excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC) and is the reason why intense exercise will help burn more fat and calories than regular aerobic and steady-state workouts.
 
TreeFit Skills & Drills: These classes have a similar format to our CrossFit classes with one catch. NO BARBELLS. This class focuses more core strength and conditioning. Every class has a fun team warm up, instructor led skill progressions and drilling, exercises to increase general core strength (ab heaven), and always finishes up with interval style of conditioning. This is a class you don’t want to miss. Whether you are new to working out, just getting back into shape, need a break from all the barbell workouts or just like to mix it up with kettlebells, dumbbells, sandbags, pull-up bars, medicine balls, sleds, battling ropes, agility drills, running, climbing or anything else we throw at you.
 
CrossFit: These classes start off with proper warm up and joint mobility to prepare your body for work. After that it is on to getting advanced skill work and then some good old fashioned drilling to make it part of your new movement pattern. Next it is onto strength work. Every workout builds on the last one to keep you constantly getting stronger. Next up is the power and work capacity part of the class. There will be a short and intense workout to give your body what it needs to make huge gains. When all the action is done it is time to bring it in and stretch it out! All of that in 1 hour. The best hour of your day!

Quarterly Assessment:  Our base memberships come with quarterly assessments. Please take advantage of them! The membership is split up into teams. Quarterly teams Month 1-Green, Month 2-orange, and Month 3-red. Every quarter An email and text message is sent out on your month with 4 assessment questions. Please respond. Some quarters you might say things are good, thanks for checking in. Other quarters you might have a lot of questions and goals.

Skill Accelerator Sessions
I am excited to announce the launch of our Skill Accelerator Program. The goal of the Skill Accelerator Program is to deliver a super high experience based on your individual needs and goals.
 
The sessions will be very focused and aim for efficiency. To accomplish this, here is the format as how the session will be delivered:
  • Determine what skill would be worked on for improvement (nutrition and mobility can also be selected BUT only 1 item per session)
  • Video of current skill abilities
  • Analysis of areas of opportunities for improvement
  • Drills to correct or improve deficiency
  • Video of finished product
  • Complete summary of the session along with a plan of action of drills assigned as homework that will be dropped into a Google Drive folder (along with videos) for your convenience to review repeatedly as needed
You as the client can book sessions with any coach of your choosing. Each of our staff has certain areas of experience and expertise that may be more beneficial to book with depending on what your needs and desires are. Treehouse Fit for Life Experience
60-Day Immersion Program:

Day- 0-7 Your first week is about setting the stage for success. We start with a FREE TreeFit Intro where we will create a plan to help you reach your goals and collect information about you to help personalize your experience and workout plan. Armed with information we will start you off with 3 private training sessions to get you ready for classes. At the end of your first week you will receive a detailed summary of your week.

Day 8-30 Your coaching team will be checking in with you weekly to see how you are doing and keep you on track. Every week starts with a detailed summary of the weeks TreeFit conditioning and our TreeFit Skill, Drills and conditioning classes. This summary will have individualized adjustment built around your needs. You will also have unlimited access to the facility for homework, recovery work and of course extra conditioning work.

Day 31-60 By now you can expect to see measurable results in your body composition and your fitness. At this point you will be put in our monthly nutrition challenge to help dial in your nutrition and results! You will continue to have fun in in fat burning group classes and you will have the option to meet your personal trainers 1-3x per week if you want to supercharge your results.

Day 61+ At this point your clothes will start to feel looser and you’ll have more energy. You will be participating in the many different levels of the Treehouse program. This is usually the time your friends and family will start noticing that you have lost weight. Typically we receive the most referrals during this phase of the experience. You will have a core group of friends and you will start holding each other accountable. This is usually the time members start hanging out together outside of class and integrating into the community we have here at the Treehouse.

Treehouse Nutrition Sprint Challenge

What is included:

  • Client goal assessment sheet
  • Weigh in with measurements
  • Spreadsheet to track progress
  • Daily accountability log (all participants must use Myfitnesspal to log)
  • Nutrition infographs/articles provided for reference
  • Adjustments and feedback based on your progress or specific needs
  • Access to a private Facebook group where you can ask questions, share recipes, resources and engage with our coaches and other members
  • Weigh in/measure at end of challenge

High School Strength and Power Program

What:

Treehouse Athletics is a program designed to bring high level weightlifting and program instruction to high school athletes and coaches. The program is run by USAW Senior Coach Dave Picardy and USAW Club Coach Neal Thompson along with their team of Coaches, Amanda Chase and T.J Baril.

Why: 
Weightlifting is our expertise. Working with high level Strength coaches is not readily available for most high school athletes. Too often we see young athletes not giving themselves enough time or doing the right things to have their strength training work for them. In the industry we see athletic training programs delivering skills, drills and conditioning programs at a relatively high level. What they are lacking is a proper strength and power development program. The main reason is because that is not their expertise. The second is there is not enough time in the session to do it all. Treehouse Athletics believes that proper progressions in weightlifting are the key for athletic success. We deliver our skills, drills and conditioning in our warm up drills and at the end of sessions. The core of our program is reserved for what counts, getting strong and powerful. How:

Athlete Training Camps:
Our focus is on teaching proper fundamentals and proper progressions. This is not a cookie cutter program. Each athlete will be working under a coaches eye and working on their own individualized program. Whether an athlete’s goal is weight gain, leaning out or just getting stronger, faster and more powerful, our coaches will take you to the next level.
Train 6 days per week

  • Summer 6 week – $299 per student
  • Winter break 4 week – $199
  • Spring Break 1 week- $99

When:

  • 10:15am-11:45am: Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday
  • Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday General Fitness Classes

Strength Clinics:
90 minute clinics designed to progress athletes in advanced lifting skills. Done right, weightlifting produces the power and speed required to compete at a high level in high school and college sports.  Your athletes will learn proper progressions for power cleans, squats, pressing, deadlifts, as well as in and out of season training plans.

Coach’s Courses: FREE
Learn the lifts and how to teach them to your athletes. We understand not every athlete on your team can come to Treehouse Athletics for training. It is an important skill for a coach to be able to teach and understand strength fundamentals and progressions. Sending your athletes to the weight room or gym to get stronger in season and off season can produce much better results. Let us help you design a winning strength program!
