Friday night we are having our 3rd competitors workshop.  This week will be dedicated to Not Your Average Joe workout review, strategy and just general questions.  I hope to see everyone there.  Today’s picture is from last Friday night.  What’s going on?

    Love what you did Picardy!!!

    We all need some time to reflect and ground ourselves and meditation is a great way to accomplish this. With practice, dedication and focus we can all learn to let go and set new perspectives and accomplish more of what we want, not what we feel we lack!!!! Nice job Dave!!!

    Worked up to from 95-185 up by 10 each set only because I haven’t done presses in a long time. Hit 185 for 1.. Started @ 205 and ended with 240 on push press. Tried 250 but had nothing left in the tank. Ended up with 260 push jerk. Tried 265 but only managed 1.

    Practicing meditation and relaxation before and during a workout can make all the difference. It is tough skill to have, but once you know how to do it, any workout is much more manageable. Just relax and breathe!
