Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

  • One large sweet potato
  • One pound of grass fed hamburger
  • One small onion
  • 3-6 garlic cloves (depends how much you like your garlic)
  • 1 can Organic stew tomatoes
  • 1 can whole tomatoes

-Seasoning: I use to taste (my liking so add a little then add more of what you like)

  •  Cayenne Pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Mediterranean Herbs (McCorrmack natural)
  • Cinnamon
  • Mint
  • Black Pepper

 -Step one

  • Steam sweet potato (in micro for 11 mins in a bowl w about 1/4 cup water)

 -Step two

  • Boil or steam cabbage (I did use microwave steamed with a little water for about 14 mins)

 -Step three

  • Sautéing garlic (pressed) and onion in about a tablespoon of BACON
  •  Add ground beef
  • Add seasonings a couple shakes of each to taste.
  • I did two shakes cayenne
  • One garlic shake because I added fresh too
  • About 4 shakes of Mediterranean Herb
  • Cinnamon was 2 shakes
  • Mint was two shakes in hand and then I rubbed to make flakes fine
  • Black pepper was several shakes

-Once ground meat is cooked through and minced add STEWED TOMATOES and the insides to the Sweet Potato (I added sweet potato to mixture mixed and then tomatoes) mix and set a side

  •  Now chop up cauliflower really dice it up
  • Add to sauté pan
  • Add bacon fat
  • You can add a dash of seasoning here too its up to your taste buds
  • I just added the Mediterranean Herbs and Black pepper

-When that’s done I used 3/4 of the cauliflower rice and put it in the hamburger mixture (I saved the other part for a different experiment I wanted to create)

-Now it is time to roll it all up

-Place in a pan once rolled

-Add a can of whole tomatoes or crushed. I like the whole ones

-Bake at 375 degrees until it starts to boil. You can also do on stovetop just cover pan with lid and watch so it doesn’t burn
